EISAZ is asking members to submit suggestions for changes to existing duties and tariffs in a bid to support the Zimbabwe's manufacturing base. Manufacturing in Zimbabwe is under substantial threat and while EISAZ acknowledge's that increasing duties and tariffs on imported goods is not the solution, it can in some instances assist recovery. This process will be handled professionally as EISAZ draws on the experience of consultants to ensure we do not cause economic damage. All submissions will be carefully reviewed before our final report is submitted to the Competition and Tariffs Commission.
